Described as a "major ensemble" by The New York Times after its successful debut at Carnegie Hall, Pacific Symphony has achieved significant stature in its 43-year history. Comprised of gifted musicians, Pacific Symphony has been led by Music Director Carl St.Clair. Pacific Symphony is developing an international reputation having successfully toured major European musical capitals as well as those in China, but its primary focus is serving the 34 cities comprising Orange County. Resident at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Pacific Symphony performs over 100 concerts and thousands of educational activities each year. Tens of thousands of listeners enjoy Pacific Symphony at no cost through digital offerings and free access offered to beneficiaries of numerous non-profit partnerships. It sponsors three nationally recognized youth ensembles and offers a large in-school residence program called Class Act. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Education & Community Engagement will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating all education and community engagement programs. Supervising a professional staff and committed volunteers, they will oversee the delivery of programs, ensuring there is alignment between artistic priorities and educational initiatives. Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Education & Community Engagement will play a pivotal role in representing the Symphony to other arts, education, and civic institutions, cultivating deep community partnerships and advocating for the importance of arts education. As a member of the senior leadership team, they will collaborate with Vice Presidents of other departments, and serve as the liaison to the board of directors’ Education & Community Engagement Committee. The Vice President of Education & Community Engagement will demonstrate a genuine commitment to expanding equitable access to Symphony programs throughout their work in the organization and community.

The ticketing sales and service associate’s duties are focused on the day-to-day operations of Pacific Symphony’s patron services office. Primary responsibilities include maximizing sales by responding to incoming customer requests, fulfilling orders, and adding incremental revenue through up-sells and donation add-on requests. In addition, exceptional customer service will be provided to ensure a memorable experience for patrons. This role is a vital front-line position in our ticketing and customer service operations.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Arts Engagement Coordinator will work closely alongside the Senior Manager of Arts Engagement in executing administrative, operational, and event production elements of four of the Symphony’s engagement programs; arts-X-press, Family Musical Mornings, Lantern Festival, and Lantern Festival Orchestra.
